WIX Oil Filters provide excellent engine protection using conventional, synthetic, or synthetic-blended motor oils, as recommended by the OE vehicle manufacturer, for normal and severe driving conditions. These filters are designed for severe conditions such as stop-and-go traffic, dirt roads, and construction sites. They feature a high-quality cellulose media that traps up to 50% more dirt and contaminants than standard filters. Laboratory tests show a dirt-holding capacity of 18 grams and 99% efficiency at 23 microns. Recommended for use in VW Touareg with 5.0L Diesel (04-09) and other high-performance applications.
